While the COVID-19 pandemic has forced many restaurants to adjust operations, it has not stopped some from hosting Christmas luncheons.
Yesterday, management for at least three hotels reported they were fully booked for lunch tomorrow, Christmas Day.
Dining out on Christmas Day has become a new tradition for many Barbadians who prefer to get dressed up in their finest and eat out with their family or friends instead of preparing the much anticipated meal of the day.
General manager of Radisson Aquatica Resort, Gerry Lewis, said the hotel had an overwhelming response to their Christmas Day lunch special adding they could not accommodate everyone. (SB)
