DJ Tech
presenter sound Engineer
DJ Tech(Clive)is a very experienced professional DJ and radio presenter. He started DJing at parties in the late 70s (when vynl was still the main media!!) and prided himself in always having the top 10 club tracks each month, which often meant buying an import LP for just one track, as that was what was “kicking” at the time!! Over the years he has kept his hand in with it and has also presented multiple radio shows on various radios stations, including one in the mid states, USA! Clive left school in 1979 and became a lithographic printer, but was already into DJing and working gave him the full time income to purchase all the vynl he needed! Although Clive had several different careers over the years, including an IT professional, an electrician and a professional tennis coach, music has always been his passion, which led to him learning the trade of FOH sound engineer and saw Clive regularly fulfil this role on the many musicals that the Bob Hope Theatre in Eltham and associate theatres put on, including a large production of Camelot at Eynsford Castle in Kent. In the end Clive wanted to try being on the stage himself and did some brief acting and singing in Graham Chapman’s farce “Dry Rot” at the Bob Hope Theatre and sang in the chorus for Sidcup Light Opera’s production of Noel Coward’s Bitter Suite. Clive has also taken.singing lessons from a very good opera singer, in exchange for teaching her tennis(!!!) and has enjoyed beginners lessons in the alto saxophone, which he hopes to progress to improvisation level in one day. In the meantime, Clive is back on the decks mobile DJing and joins Bajan Vibes Radio as a keen presenter
