The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory recorded 222 new COVID-19 cases, 101 males and 121 females, from the 884 tests carried out on Sunday, April 3.
The cases comprised 50 people under the age of 18, and 172 who were 18 years and older.
There were 69 people in isolation facilities, while 1 738 were in home isolation.
As at April 3, there were 375 COVID-19 related deaths.
The public health laboratory has carried out 616 205 tests since February 2020, and recorded 60,160 COVID-19 cases (27 855 males and 32 305 females).
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of people with at least one dose is 161 196 (70.6 per cent of the eligible population). The number of fully vaccinated is 151 276 (55.8 per cent of the total population or 66.2 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those who are 12 years and older.
