Jason Holder’s career-best Twenty20 bowling figures of 4-7 and a half-century from opener Brandon King propelled the West Indies to a comprehensive nine-wicket victory over England today at Kensington Oval here in Barbados.
The tourists were restricted to 103 in 19.4 overs following a mouth-watering spell from Holder, the No.1 ranked all-rounder in the world.
England were 39-6 after 10 overs before home-town boy Chris Jordan (28) and leg-spinner Adil Rashid (22) mounted a recovery.
However, King hit four boundaries and a six to score his second half century and share a 50-run partnership with Nicolas Pooran (27).
It was a Man-of-The-Match performance from Holder who said there wasn’t much the team did wrong on the day.
