Update: Man charged for multiple offences

Javon Michael Richards, age 20 and residing at #16 Lascelles Terrace, Saint Michael, has been remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds) after appearing before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes at District ‘A’ Court #1 on March 18, 2024. Richards was arrested and formally charged by The Barbados Police Service’s Criminal Investigation Department (Major Crime Unit) for multiple offences committed on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Constitution Terminal, Bridgetown, Saint Michael.

The charges against Richards include serious bodily harm against Dravid Chase, unlawful use of a firearm, and endangering the lives of Joseph Ben-Israel, Mikhael Ben-Israel, David Ben-Israel, Damario Brathwaite, Kyle Welch, Rohan Walcott, Taj Gulstone, and Tito Gulstone.

Richards’ next court appearance is scheduled for Monday, April 15, 2024, at District ‘A’ Magistrate’s Court #1.
