‘Troubling’ case of witchcraft

It was a case that troubled those who dealt with it.

So said Justice Pamela Beckles as she remanded St Lucians Sabina Isaie John and Petular Henry, who admitted they dabbled in witchcraft and used it to bilk a woman out of her money and jewellery, after they were found guilty in the No. 5 Supreme Court yesterday.

Their former co-accused Noel Lionel Taylor was acquitted but still went back to Dodds Prison where he is being held on other matters.

“I am going to tell you something. All of us agree, and we’ve been here a long time, this case troubled us,” Justice Beckles told Isaie John and Henry.
