Nurse in Antigua to reappear on charges of forging COVID-19 vaccine cards

St John’s – A 29-year-old nurse is due to return to court on March 17 after she was granted EC$5 000 bail on 21 charges of forgery in relation to the fabricated coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination cards.

Jahmesha Millwood, a mother of two, appeared before Chief Magistrate Joanne Walsh on Monday, charged with committing the crime on November 13, last year.

In ganting bail, the Chief Magistrate Joanne Walsh also ordered that the accused report to a police station three days each week, provide two local sureties and surrender all of her travel documents.

Health Minister, Sir Molwyn Joseph, had disclosed last year that the accused had been sent on leave pending the outcome of the matter. (CMC)
