Mother’s plea: Come home

“Donisha, I miss you, come home,” cried heartbroken mother Diana Cumberbatch.

That was all she could manage before collapsing in tears after she entreated her 14-year-old daughter Donisha Thomas, who has been missing for 19 days, to get in contact with the family.

Diana was joined by her mother Jeanet Cumberbatch, uncle Mark Cumberbatch and his wife Asenatha, and Donisha’s brother Donte at the family home in Alexandria, St Lucy. They are calling on the relevant authorities to help them locate the teenager.

“I am a bit concerned that all the resources are not being used to find her. It’s unusual and when any young girl is missing, it is frightening what could happen. So I am hoping that exposing the lost to the public we would be able to get feedback, along with a picture that would show that she is still safe and alive,” Asenatha told the Saturday Sun.

The family agreed that they did not believe Donisha was the person actually commenting using certain words under the social media bulletin listing her as missing. (AC)
