Living With La Soufriere: Episode 4

When La Soufriere volcano erupted on April 9, 2021 in St Vincent and the Grenadines, it was another in a series of such explosions over the centuries.

Each successive eruption brought about change to the topography of the main island. One forced the closure of a slave plantation, while another scattered some of the Carib descendants.

Historian and UWI lecturer Dr Cleve Scott talks about some of the changes over the years in Episode 4 of Living With La Soufriere.
