Jail time for ‘menace to society’

The burglar who was deemed a menace to society was sentenced to 24 years in prison for his latest crimes yesterday.

However, Wayne Adrian “Pinchers” Lovell will serve just over two and a half years after the 11 years he had spent on remand and other deductions were taken into consideration.

Lovell, of Blackman’s Road, My Lord’s Hill, St Michael, was in the No. 2 Supreme Court where he had admitted that together with other men on December 19, 2011, he entered Shell Service Station, Pilgrim Road, Christ Church, and stole $1 009.31 while armed with a firearm.

He had also pleaded guilty to robbing Renaldo Lewis of $143.78 on the same date.
