Farley Hill alive with praises

It was an evening of spiritual gratification ministered in song, dance and praise with Guyana-born artist Samuel Medas as the curtain-closer for the 31st Barbados Gospelfest themed Gospelfest Barbados: Touching Lives, Changing Nation at the Farley Hill National Park in St Peter.

The premier gospel event, Courts One Awesome Day in association with Life 97.5 FM, attracted a sizeable crowd which, undeterred by the intermittent rain on a Sunday evening, made the trek to the picturesque location for an unforgettable time of worship.

The biblical teaching of patience was exemplified by those in attendance when Medas’ sound team took an extensive length of time to get him sorted. However, when the Can’t Be The Only One singer touched down on the stage, it appeared that the wait was well worth it.

From there, Medas went smoothly into such worship songs as Royalty, When You Respond, Move and In This Place along with countless other songs for which he is known. (ML)
