One cyclist is dead following a collision on Coles Cave Road, St. Lucy this morning.
The accident, which involved a car and a cyclist, occurred around 8:45 am near the Grape Hall Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
The cyclist was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance but died while receiving treatment.
The cyclist’s identity is not yet confirmed, and authorities will notify next-of-kin before releasing it publicly.
Investigations are currently ongoing.
This marks the ninth road traffic fatality of the year.
