The No. 4 Supreme Court wants to see Kirk St Clair White’s COVID-19 test results after the attorney for the self-confessed thief said he turned up for court but left after feeling unwell.
White, of Jackson Main Road, St Michael, along with Kevin DaCosta Cadogan, of Arthur’s Seat, St Thomas, had pleaded guilty, at an earlier Session of the Continuous Sittings, to stealing $290 000 being the proceeds of a Bank of Nova Scotia draft, dated August 12, 2011, payable to RBTT Bank for $290 000 belonging to the Bank of Nova Scotia, on August 12, 2011.
They had also each pleaded guilty to stealing $22 960 belonging to the Bank of Nova Scotia between August 1, 2011, and October 31, 2011, and engaging in money laundering in that they each directly engaged in transactions totalling $312 960, being the proceeds of crime, between August 1 and October 31, 2011.
White, along with Adrian Drakes, of Browne’s Gap, Jackson, St Michael, had also pleaded guilty to unlawfully and maliciously engaging in conduct on August 24, 2011, which placed Bank of Nova Scotia account holder Hortense Williams in danger of death or serious bodily harm. (HLE)
