CCB probing missing girls’ case

The Child Care Board (CCB) is investigating the case involving two missing 14-year-old girls.

Both CCB director RoseAnn Richards and Minister of People Empowerment Kirk Humphrey say they are looking into the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Haynesville, St James residents Tanik Jemmott and Runeka Husbands.

They went missing on April 11 and 13, respectively.

“Once a missing person report goes out and it is a minor, the Child Care Board gets involved. Because of the nature of the situation, we don’t want to discuss or divulge further,” Richards said. (Nation News)
