10 launch Net security careers

Ten Barbadians are now on the way to becoming cybersecurity professionals.

The ten signed contracts for their services on the eve of graduating from a Cyber Nations course.

“This experience was also about jobs,” Minister of Education Kay McConney said during the Cyber Nations graduating ceremony at Hilton Barbados on Saturday.

“There were some who were certain that this would happen for them and others not so certain. I want to tell you that last night, just before midnight, ten of the persons in here signed their contracts.

“Our Canadian partners will be working assiduously to complete the placement of all of the students that have successfully completed this journey,” she added. (CLM)
