Zeeko romped to his third victory on the trot in the Barbados Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association Breeders Stakes and Trophy race day at the Garrison Savannah, on Saturday.
The three year-old dark bay colt owned by Nalicia Cozier showed tremendous acceleration to win the George Cecil Corbin Memorial Trophy Handicap for the top class and lower over 1 100 metres.
Favourite Dominus had things his own way from the start until he narrowly saw the shadow of the winner Zeeko which whisked by under a super confident Rickey Walcott.
It was a hattrick of wins for the imported Zeeko which has now won four of his nine starts.
