The Sir David Seale-owned speedball, who will be ridden by Rey Williams, will shoulder the top impost of 133 pounds while shedding plenty of weight all around on the Barbados Turf Club’s third day of its third season.
Dominus, who has nine sprint wins to his name, will line up against Radial Flyer (Aaron Daniel) with 120 pounds, Shane Doan with Rickey Walcott up at 119 and the light-weighted Sir Jimmy (Rasheed Hughes) handicapped at 110.
This action will unfold in the third of nine races on the Christmas season raceday. The day-night card, which starts at 2:30 p.m., will feature the BTBA Breeders’ Stakes and Trophy, a grade 2 event for Barbados three-year-olds at allotted weights going 1 800 metres. (LY)
