The prosecution and defence have agreed that 15 years should be the starting point for self-confessed killer Keino Nakito Griffith’s manslaughter sentence.
And today, he will find out if Justice Randall Worrell has agreed with their submissions.
Griffith, of Pounders Gap, Westbury Road, St Michael, was back in the No. 2 Supreme Court where he had pleaded guilty to unlawfully killing British national Steven Weare on August 23, 2017. He was originally arraigned with murdering Weare but denied that count.
He also admitted to unlawfully disposing of Weare’s body sometime between August 23 and September 1, 2017.
