The Barbados Police Service has arrested and formally charged 38-year-old Dwayne Demar Garnes of Block 20D, Haynesville, St James in connection with a murder investigation.

Police said Garnes was charged with the murder of Andre Maynard, which allegedly occurred on May 19.
The charge follows investigations into the fatal stabbing incident at Haynesville, St James earlier this week.
Garnes is scheduled to appear before the Holetown Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, May 26.
