Barbadian driver Zane Maloney is feverishly preparing to hit the ground running from the start of this year’s FIA Formula 2 season which moves off next Saturday, March 4, at the Bahrain International Circuit.
The Red Bull Academy Team driver who is also a reserve for the Formula One World Championship, has rejoined English outfit Carlin Motorsport with whom he competed last in 2020 Euroformula Open and previously, the 2019 British Formula 4 Championship.
Despite a formidable finish to the 2022 Formula 3 season in which he finished vice-champion behind Frenchman Victor Martins, the Barbadian is keen on a more productive start to the upcoming season.
He is currently training in Austria at Red Bull headquarters before jetting off to England and then to Bahrain next week. (NM)
