Magistrate gives man a choice

Najee Antonia Harding has a choice – get a job, enrol in a programme of study or face punishment for refusing to complete court-ordered community service.

The options were given to him by Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes when Harding reappeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court.

Harding, 26, a jet ski operator of Bannister Land, Martindales Road, St Michael, had pleaded guilty, on February 18, to possession of cocaine, having a traffickable quantity of the drug and having cocaine with intent to supply, all on February 15, this year.

The Chief Magistrate had ordered him to complete 150 hours of community service. (HLE)
