The International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) executive board yesterday gave the green light for Barbados to immediately draw down about US$56 million from the institution.
This was the outcome when the IMF’s top brass concluded the third reviews under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) and the Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF) for Barbados.
The additional funding will bring IMF disbursements to Government to about US$187 million – US$75 million under the EFF and US$112 million via the RSF. (SC)
