A flash flood watch is in effect for Barbados.
A flash flood watch is issued when heavy or excessive rainfall in a short period of time (generally less than six hours) could result in flash flooding within the watch area. It does not mean that flooding will occur.
Maximum rainfall accumulations of 20 to 40mm in heavy showers are expected over the next few hours or so.
This bulletin is valid until 8 a.m. Wednesday, but may be changed sooner if conditions warrant. (PR/SAT)
