About 135 Ethiopian Airlines passengers who flew from Lagos, Nigeria, touched down at the Grantley Adams International Airport on Wednesday morning.
They arrived around 10: 30 a.m. ahead of the inaugural AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum 2022 (ACTIF2022) which is scheduled to be held from September 1-3.
The eight-hour flight was captained by German pilot Lars Mueller and his crew.
After they disembarked the jet Minister of State Sandra Husbands and Chief Executive Officer at the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. Jens Thraenhart, were among those who greeted the contingent.
The visitors then received an even warmer welcome when they were entertained by a tuk band, stilt men and dancers.
Many of the passengers took out their phones to take selfies with the entertainers and record the action. (TG)
