The daughter of Laura Springer yesterday recalled how a man, with matching “unusual” bleached hair and beard, walked hurriedly past her moments before her husband discovered her mother’s body in a house.
Carla Springer-Jordan told the No. 3 Supreme Court she had gone to her mother’s St Lawrence Main Road, Christ Church home because she was concerned after telephoning and failing to hear her.
The witness was testifying in the murder case against Lawrence Mullin.
Springer-Jordan described her mother as fun-loving, jovial, friendly and happy. She said her mother lived alone but had a male friend who worked at a nearby restaurant and who spoke to her every morning. (HLE)
