BWA to conduct emergency repairs in St Stephen’s

The Pumping Station which supplies water to parts of St Michael, St Thomas and St James will be taken offline today to facilitate emergency repairs on a 12-inch main at St Stephen’s in St Michael.

As a result, residents and businesses in some areas may be affected by low pressure or water outages.

The Barbados Water Authority advises customers in the districts listed below to store water to assist during the period of work. Water tankers will be dispatched as a temporary measure.

Customers in the following areas may be affected: Free Hill, Stanmore Crescent, Wanstead, Husbands Heights, West Terrace, Oxnards, Husbands Development, Husbands Gardens, Ricks Land, Halls Village, Oxnards Crescent, Haynesville, Durants Village, Thorpes, Bibby’s Lane, Cane Garden, Jackson Terrace, Edge Hill, Melrose, Arthur Seat, Jackson, Welches Heights, Warrens Terrace, Warrens, Clermont, Clerview Heights, Husbands, Meadow Vale Heights, Crystal Heights, Prior Park, Redmans Village, Bagatelle Park, Bagatelle Gardens, Hoytes Village, Arch Hall, Seaview, Halcyon Heights, Sunset Ridge and surrounding districts.
