A power outage has affected several areas of Barbados.
In a statement, the Barbados Light and Power Company said: “We are aware of an outage affecting our customers.
Please know that our teams are investigating the cause of this outage and are working to promptly and safely restore power in the shortest time possible.
Please also be aware that our phone system is offline.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the outage and thank you for your patience as our teams work to restore power.”
