Barbadians against mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations or coercion have been urged to vote wisely in the upcoming General Election.
Alliance Party for Progress (APP) candidate for The City of Bridgetown, Marva Lashley-Todd made that plea yesterday while suggesting that not enough has been said about the number of vaccinated people testing positive for the viral illness.
During a meeting at Brownes Beach, Bay Street, St Michael, which social activist and coordinator of the Steering Committee of Barbados’ Concerned Citizens Against Mandated and Coerced Vaccinations Winston Clarke also attended, Lashley-Todd said she was concerned with a long line of people seen at the Grantley Adams International Airport Arrival Hall on Friday. An image of the line has gone viral.
“I am not against vaccination but more needs to be done and more research needs to be done . . . . The amount of people that were seen at Grantley Adams was like a super spreader event that was ridiculous,” she added. (TG)
