After losing more than half their stock in the Brighton Warehouse Complex fire, The Tile Hut has found a new location and should be back in business by next week.
Managing director Siraaj Bhana told The Daily Nation they would be operating from the former Barbados Lumber Company building in Waterford, St Michael.
Yesterday, workmen were at the former location in Brighton, St Michael, removing the surviving stock for relocation. They are still unable to quantify the losses.
“All of our stock inside the warehouse has been destroyed. All we have left is what was outside at the time of the fire and, fortunately, we had stuff in the port. That is how we will carry on [in the short term],” Bhana said, adding the destroyed stock was more valuable. (Nation News)
