A 27-year-old Christ Church man has been charged with trafficking and importing cannabis after police seized 13.6 kilograms of the drug with an estimated street value of $108,000.

Jakobi Rolando Corbin, of Arawak Road, Chancery Lane, Christ Church, was arrested and formally charged for the offences allegedly committed on August 19.
Corbin appeared before Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick in District “A” Criminal Court #1 today, where he pleaded not guilty to both charges.
He was granted bail in the sum of $40,000 and is scheduled to reappear in court on November 10.
