A St Thomas man was granted bail after appearing in court today accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm on a male juvenile.

Mahendra Totaram Ramautar, 47 years, of Lot #8 Vernon, Edgar Drive, Melrose, pleaded guilty when he appeared before Magistrate Alison Burke in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
Bail to the sum of $3 000 with one surety was granted.
Ramautar is scheduled to reappear on August 12 for sentencing. (PR/SAT)
