Police are on the scene of a road fatality that occurred on East Coast Road, St. Andrew about 4:14 p.m.
Lawmen said one motor car with a sole occupant overturned and struck a utility pole. The driver died at the scene.
The pole and live electrical wires are down rendering the scene dangerous.
Personnel from Barbados Light & Power are responding to the scene.
