It is possible that students will sit the Barbados Secondary Schools Entrance Examination (BSSEE) on July 5.
Education Officer (Examinations and Assessment) Shamin Ally announced that provisional date last night during a town hall meeting at The Lester Vaughan School, at Cane Garden, St Thomas.
“That date is tentative; we are still in this pandemic so we have to be very careful with our activities. I know that in the schools we are doing everything to keep our children safe, but then they leave the schools to go home so a number of factors can play in the changing of that date.
“But right now we have settled for July 5 but it is all dependent on what happens between now and then,” Ally told the Sunday Sun after the meeting.
The assembly was one of two held yesterday, the other being held at the Alexandra School and facilitated by education officer Donna Roberts. (TG)
