Barbados recorded 103 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, 47 males and 56 females, from the 725 tests carried out on Wednesday, March 16, by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.
The cases comprised 18 people under the age of 18, and 85 who were 18 years and older.
There were 49 people in isolation facilities, while 997 were in home isolation.
As at March 16, a total of 326 people had died from the virus.
The public health laboratory has carried out 601 053 tests since February 2020, and recorded 57 451 COVID-19 cases (26 629 males and 30 822 females).
Under the National COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign, the total number of people with at least one dose is 160 736 (70.4 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated people is 150 525 (55.5 per cent of the total population or 65.9 per cent of the eligible population).
