Barbados Yacht Club will be looking to win their first ever Inter-Club title when they take on defending champions Tennis Centre in the final of the 2023 Barbados Tennis Association (BTA) Inter-Club Competition.
After six weeks of competition at the National Tennis Centre in Wildey, unbeaten Yacht Club reached the final on the back of a 55-38 win over Ocean View in their semi-final clash.
On the other side of the draw, two-time winners Tennis Centre overcame Paragon 55-33 to set up Saturday’s final.
Tennis Centre will be looking to set the record straight when the final rolls into town at 2 p.m. after comprehensively losing their previous encounter against Yacht Club 61-30.
The latter have lost the finals twice, in 2012 and 2016.
There are only five teams competing this year instead of the eight member clubs, with three-time winners Windward Cricket Club, International Club of Barbados and University of the West Indies not participating.
