Renaldo Omaro Griffith and Shaquille Stephen Edwards may have been in the same vehicle in which a gun was found, but they were not the ones who had possession of it.
This was the finding of a nine-member jury as it found the two not guilty in the No. 4 Supreme Court yesterday.
Griffith, of Fitts Gap, Westbury Road, and Edwards, of 4th Avenue, Pickwick Gap, both in St Michael, were accused of having a Glock Model 17 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol and 38 rounds of ammunition on January 24, 2019.
They were represented by attorney Shadia Simpson, while State Counsel Romario Straker prosecuted. (HLE)
