Two Christ Church men have been remanded to prison after appearing in court today on charges related to the murder of O’Brian Dixon and other violent offences.
Shamar Makhail Massiah-Toby, 35, of Blackman Road, Maxwell, and Antonio Desmond Lewis, 33, of Harmony Hall, St. Lawrence, were arrested and formally charged by police.
The charges stem from an incident on Thursday, February 20, at Bamboo Road, St. Lawrence, Christ Church. Both men have been charged with the murder of Dixon and violent disorder.
Massiah-Toby faces additional charges, including possession of a firearm and two counts of endangering life—one involving Maxine Leacock and the other Dwayne Lewis.
The accused appeared before Magistrate Manilla Renee in the District ‘A’ Magistrate’s Court on today and were remanded to Dodds Prison. They are scheduled to reappear in court on Friday, March 28.
