Police are investigating a three-vehicle collision that occurred early Tuesday morning along the Ronald Mapp Highway, leaving two drivers injured and causing extensive damage to all vehicles involved.
Officers from the Holetown Police Station responded to the accident, which took place around 5:50 a.m.
Preliminary investigations revealed that two vehicles were travelling north, one directly behind the other, when a collision occurred with a third vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
Two of the drivers complained of injuries and were transported by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Their conditions remain unknown at this time.
The affected section of the roadway has since been reopened to traffic, but authorities are urging motorists to exercise caution while travelling through the area.
