The Durants Village, St James community is in shock following an unnatural death in the neighbourhood.
Paul Sandiford, 48, was found hanging in his rented apartment on Monday.
Neighbours said he was a friendly person but had been struggling with a number of personal problems. One said she wished he had found someone with whom he could speak.
Police are investigating. (CA)
