It was a drug buy that went sour and it ended with Jamario Akeem Warren shooting a man and being shot himself.
Warren, 30, of Parish Land, Christ Church, was in the No. 2 Supreme Court yesterday where he admitted he used a firearm without a licence to do so; that he unlawfully and maliciously wounded Robert Jamal Walcott; that he used unlawful violence and his conduct would cause people present to fear for their safety and that he damaged property belonging to Sophia Catwell, all on October 10, 2019.
He was represented by attorney Sade Harris, while Senior State Counsel Olivia Davis prosecuted.
Attorney Harris, who revealed that Warren had been on remand for the past 28 months, requested a pre-sentencing report. (HLE)
