It will be in place from 1:45 p.m. today until 6 p.m., but may be terminated at 6 p.m. or sooner, if conditions warrant.
A flash-flood watch is issued when heavy or excessive rainfall in a short period of time (generally less than six hours) could result in flash flooding within the watch area.
Maximum Rainfall Accumulations of 30.0 to 50.0 mm in moderate to heavy showers, periods of rain and gusty winds are likely this afternoon. (PR/SAT)
