Flash flood warning

A flash flood warning is in effect for Barbados from noon until 6 p.m. Monday, but maybe updated sooner.

A flash flood warning is issued when rapid flooding due to heavy or excessive rainfall in a short period of time (generally less than six hours) is occurring or is imminent in the warning area.

Unsettled conditions will persist for much of the afternoon as lines of heavy showers move across the island. Rainfall accumulations of one to two inches are possible throughout the course of the afternoon.
