BWA to make connection in the north

Residents in St Peter and St Lucy have been advised that they may suffer low pressure or water outages on Friday, July 1.

The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) stated in a media release that they will be making an eight-inch connection on Friday, July 1, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. between the Lamberts junction in St Lucy and Date Tree Hill in St Peter.

The BWA said residents and businesses in Alexandria, Cave Hill, Collins, Date Tree Hill, The Risk, Bayview 1 & 2, Mount Gay Village, Centipede Alley, Luke Hill, Boscobelle, Oxford Tenantry, The Baltic, Fairfield Plantation, Foster’s Fun Land, and Lamberts Plantation.

Residents and businesses in these areas are asked to store an adequate supply of water to assist during this time.
