Basil David Blake, 23, of #25 1st Avenue, Maxwell Terrace, Christ Church, appeared before Magistrate Alison Burke in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court earlier today.

Blake is charged with two counts of theft of money, one involving Janelle Hunte on October 30, 2024, and another involving Wilton Gale on December 18, 2025.
He pleaded not guilty to the October 30 offence but pleaded guilty to the December 18 offence.
Blake was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 Bds with one surety and is scheduled to reappear in court on Monday, January 12, 2026.
